University workers now

How should we understand what's happening in universities - and to universities?  I've just published a short analysis of the situation of intellectual workers, and the growing sustainability crisis in the Australian university system.  It's called "The Knowledge Economy and University Workers", Australian Universities Review, 2015, vol. 57 no. 2, 91-95.  You can access it by clicking here.  It's based on an address to the national council of the National Tertiary Education Union, in October last year.
